Union Gas Station (World Largest CNG Station)

The Union Gas CNG Station’s equipment, supplied by the Melchers Group is manufactured by market leader GALILEO. GALILEO is represented by the Melchers Group. After having built the SembGas / SPC Station at Jalan Buroh, this is the second station developed by the Melchers Group. Covering a total area of over 7,000 sq feet, the CNG Union station has 44 pump hoses for cars and 2 pump hoses for buses and trucks. The station is powered by 4 Galileo Microbox Compressors with a total station capacity of 9,200Nm3/hr.

SembGas/SPC Station at Jalan Buroh

The SembGas/SPC station at Jalan Buroh was Melchers’ first successful venture into CNG compressors. The equipment, called Nanobox, is a package that integrates compression, storage and dispensers in a single compact unit (870mm x 2360mm x 2040mm). The Nanobox has a compressor capacity of 150Nm3/hr and it has the capability of refilling up to 200 vehicles a day. The Nanobox at SPC Station has been in operation since February 2008.
